Scorecard Information
Placing
Placing of one card length by hand, not nearer to the hole.
Handicap
It is the sole responsibility of the player to ensure the correct handicap index (hi) and course handicap (ch) is indicated on the scorecard. A scorecard without a (hi) or a (ch) is considered incomplete and may lead to disqualification.
Distance Markers
All measured to the middle of the green.
Pace of Play
4 hours & 15 minutes or better. Your position on the course is behind the group in front of you. If your group falls out of position, please implement “ready golf” practices, or kindly invite the group behind you to play through.
Out of Bounds
All boundary fences or areas marked by WHITE stakes. With respect to holes 2 & 11 the fence on the left of the fairway (before the tar road) will be the boundary fence. White Stakes (between aloes) on berm left of 3 & 12 is the boundary fence. Local Rule – Out of bounds/Lost ball – Golfers are allowed to drop the ball in vicinity of where the ball is out of bounds (including the nearest fairway area), under a two-stroke penalty. Excludes medal and match play rounds. The boundary fence on holes 2/11,4/13,8/17 is OB. Even if the ball finished over the road in the adjacent general area.
Greens
When the ridge formed by the edge of the green restricts the backswing on the putting stroke, the ball may be moved to a position on top of the ridge, keeping a straight line to the hole.
Relief without Penalty
White staked trees or flowerbeds and bowls at the base of planted trees, interfering with a player’s stance or swing are immovable obstructions and necessitate the ball being lifted and dropped within one club length from the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole without a penalty.
Obstructions
All roads are an integral part of the course. The ball must be played as it lies or declared unplayable.
